What our website analytics records

Pages viewed, stays and calendars seen, photo interactions, approximate active time, broad traffic source, screen-size category, and technical error categories. We also measure booking steps reported by our booking service, such as generating a quote, starting checkout and completing a booking, along with numeric quote or booking totals. Campaign links may carry a campaign label. We do not include names, email addresses, typed form contents, card details, full referring URLs, or IP addresses in this analytics database.

A random identifier connects activity in this browser tab. It expires after 30 minutes without activity, or at most 24 hours. A temporary link carries that anonymous session into checkout for up to two hours. Closing the tab clears its stored identifier. Event records are kept for up to 90 days and are separate from our guest email list. Aggregate page-view totals may be kept longer.

Our website analytics respects your browser’s Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. You can also turn it off below. Booking and browsing still work.

Booking services

Our booking calendar and checkout are provided by Hospitable. We use Google Tag Manager within that flow to load our analytics connection, which sends the limited booking events described above to our own database. Information you submit to book is handled by Hospitable and its payment providers. This page describes our website journey analytics, not every service used to process your reservation.
